Botanicals

There are no words for the glory of a garden whether it be created by he hand of man or by the whims of nature. Each petal , stem, leaf is perfection.  Most of these images are from my garden on the Waimea Plains in Nelson, New Zealand where, on loamy river flats, most plants grow with abandon.  The queens of this garden are the tulips which surprise each spring with their burst of loveliness and surprise.
